I have now enabled comments for all posts.
Ofcourse I know no-one is actually going to comment anything, but that's not really the point. I was bored and needed somthing to do. Plus I'll probably reuse the code sometime later when I actually need it.
The comments also support BBcode-esque markup.
In other words, kick-ass.
Now... I should get working on that real image-support as I have been planning to do for a long time...

After working my ass of today, I have finally completed most of the offsite components, and things are working fine.
So... What does this mean to you?
It means that 99% of the required infrastructure for the rest of the site(s) is now completed. There may be actual content coming soon!

I am pleased to announce that I have secured 100megabits offsite hosting for parts of the site. That is, for anything that will be bandwidth demanding. I have also enabled HTTP compression.
Currently all requests to images.kjonigsen.net will be redirected to the offsite host. I am still working on making it usable & userfriendly for me, but currently the only things you should notice is that the site loads faster.
As soon as that is fixed, my next project will be getting the photosite online, and thus letting my family actually get some benefit from this domain as well.

Right...
After having been sitting on this domain for months without really using it for anything, I have finally put upon myself to do something about it.
While it may seem that nothing really has happened here, a few infrastructure related things have been fixed, and I am starting to feel comfortable.
Right now the site is nowhere near complete, but I am working on it. You know, taking things a few steps at a time.
